How the previous owners used the corner

I've been sewing since I was a kid and I always wanted a sewing or craft spot in my house when I grew up.  Well it took awhile to get this spot made but it finally came together.


Here's what the corner looks like now

The desk is a Project Desk from Pier1 and it's great because it has shelves on the side and a big enough workspace on top for my machine and mat.  The shelves are from Ikea and although they may look a little crowded with my office supplies on them, it allows the desk to be a clean free space to use.

I also store my way too big (yet I never have the right color) nail polish collection up on the shelves

Okay the top is my grandma's, I can't crochet! But the bottom two are some of mine :)
