Goodbye 2012!

Just as I finally remember to write "12" instead of "11" at work, we're now going into 2013.  Where does the time go?  Looking back at 2012 I'm so glad I started blogging on a more regular basis, it's really helped me express my creative side more.  Which as an accountant, is not usually used!

My posts have been a bit spotty lately, what we thought was Pneumonia in September ended up being much worse and took a few months to heal from.  I'm at about 95% now and finally getting some more energy, so I hope to get back to regular posting.

For Halloween Next Year?

I have the humor of a 15 year old boy, so I'm hoping this inflatable Halloween Decoration will go on clearance after Halloween (it's currently $89 at Walmart).

And speaking of clearance, I can't believe how much Halloween stuff is already on clearance, making way for Christmas.  Can't they wait until after Halloween, or *gasp* after Thanksgiving?

Yesterday I left work in Downtown Milwaukee to rain and traffic, but as I was on the overpass, in mass traffic, the sun started to peak out

Then as I was going around the curve, I noticed the guy in front of me taking pictures behind us and I turned and saw this

It was a complete Rainbow, I was too close to get it in the entire picture

Creepy Halloween Window Silhouettes

I love Halloween, it is by far my favorite holiday and I love to add new decorations to the house each year.  This year I decided to give window silhouettes a try.  I'm not good at all at drawing and because I've been sick for the past few weeks (pneumonia still, ugh it'll exhaust you) I did a very rough version this year.

It may be October but I'm not ready to store away some of my summer clothes.  I'm trying to get one more wear out of this great summer print, I paired it with a cream cardigan and big scarf to make it more "fall" like, but I doubt that helped.  Oh well, I still love it!
