Ugly Bookcase Makeover
No groundbreaking technique used here. I had an old bookcase from college that was fairly ugly (why I painted it like this in college who knows).
It really wasn't working with the color scheme I had going in my house, so I picked up a quart of gray paint and slapped it on. It now looks new again and fits in much better!

Workout Schedule
I have finally finished my post surgery physical therapy. Now even though I have finished, I have to make sure to workout or stretch every day to keep improving my back. There are a ton of ways to make yourself an organized workout and here is what I found worked for me.
My physical therapist broke down a routine into 3 parts for me. 1. Cardio 2. Stretching 3. Strength Building. She provided me with a base of what to do for each part and then I can add what I feel like on top of that. The best way for me to organize my routine and create a schedule where I could track myself (so I don't forget) was to use a white board. I got this one at Target for $13 and it even came with the day of the week magnets. I created a grid for each day and color coded the exercises based on the 3 parts and here's what it came out to look like!
I've placed this right in front of my basement doorway, that way it's out of sight to others but I pass by it twice a day, a handy reminder that I need to follow it to keep up my health
