Bathroom Renovation - Day 14

And we have a floor....



I decided on a white octagon with diamonds pattern.  The red netting and wires underneath in the picture above were a bit of a surprise.  Those are for a heated floor...yes a heated floor.  I was told it was my 37th birthday present (I'm 29) and in Wisconsin winter's it will be a great treat.


I felt pretty bad because of the pattern, all the mortar came up from below and each joint had to be cleaned out before it dried.

Notice the missing toilet, 48 hrs of stress I tell you...

The some-what finished results.  We still have to grout the floor, which will be done in white.  but pleased so far!

Can't wait to show you what happened on Day 15, it made such a difference!!! Stay tuned.....
