As I mentioned on Day 15, today I painted and it didn't turn out as I planned.  The original color I choose was Behr's Gentle Rain from Home Depot.

July 29th - Last Thing I Bought

My sink faucet didn't work with the new countertop so back to the hardware store :(

BTW it's my 3rd trip to the hardware store in two days, ugh

It's a Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac kind of week

Best Coast "Storms" I'm currently obsessed with this Fleetwood Mac remake, it has such a great relaxed vibe to it

My favorite song of Fleetwood Mac's is "The Chain" and for another great Fleetwood Mac cover, search for Florence + The Machine's "The Chain" cover at 2010's Glastonbury, such an epic performance

Then there's the Dixie Chicks cover of the classic "Landslide"

And of course I have to include Stevie Nick's "Edge of Seventeen"

And while not Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac, the other song I've got on repeat is Frank Ocean's "Bad Religion"  This is one artist that lives up to the hype, also check out his brilliant live performance on Jimmy Fallon

I've been sewing since I was a kid and I always wanted a sewing or craft spot in my house when I grew up.  Well it took awhile to get this spot made but it finally came together.

Bon Iver "Blood Bank"

Last week Gym Class Heroes was on VH1's Unplugged and while I never paid much attention to this band, I thought there performance was surprisingly great. Having Patrick Stump sit in with them was an excellent choice and being "umplugged' really brought out Travis McCoy's voice and lyrics.
